CURRENT PROJECTS MY ENVIRONMENT, MY LIFE Project theme: STAKEHOLDER PARTICIPATION TOWARDS SUSTAINED ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP Collaborators:TROPENBOS INTERNATIONAL - GHANA & STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL, KNUST-SUNYANI Status: WILL COMMENCE ON MARCH 11, 2011 Description: An environmental advocacy program which seeks to address over 7000 SHS students in five(5) successive weekly address at Sunyani SHS, Twene Amanfo SHS, Notre Dame SHS, Odumase SHS, and Nsoatreman SHS, all in the Sunyani Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region. Sefwi Bekwai SHS and Bibiani SHS in the Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai District of the Western region will also benefit from the campaign. Topics Chosen include: 'Role of Stakeholders in sustained environmental stewardship', 'Impact of climate change on Ghana's Tropical Landscape', and 'Natural Resource Management; Education and Profession' |
